No comparison to Uggs December 7, 2008 I was really excited when I placed the order for these cute boots. As far as aesthetics, they are really cute! The color is as pictured (I got the sand color). However, I own a pair of Uggs and there is NO COMPARISON. The lambswool lining is not soft and plush like Uggs. In fact, when putting my foot into these boots, sometimes little "tufts" of lambswool end up in my hands as I'm shoving my foot in. Even worse, is the sizing issue. I typically wear a 7, my Uggs are a 6, so I ordered 6 on these. Can you believe it - They are still too big for me! My foot lifts constantly and moves around when I walk. I wore these boots for a couple of weeks not thinking anything of the size and then I realized my feet were hurting. They really don't provide good support. My advice: Pay the extra $40 or so dollars and buy Uggs. I sure wish I had!
Ok... December 6, 2008 For the most part these boots are worth it. They run a little big, I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and bought a 7 and they fit perfectly. Because I didn't pay a whole lot for these, I'm not that upset that they weren't what I expected. If you have ever owned a pair of Uggs, you will be dissapointed. The lining isn't nearly as warm or fluffy, and they just aren't quite as comfortable. I was going to buy another pair in the taller version but I think I'll just save my money and wait to buy a pair of Uggs. I will still wear them, but I wanted to have them for the winter when there is slush and snow, but that's not really possible because my feet would freeze anyway...maybe with some real thick socks they would be ok.
Absolutley the best shoe ever November 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These boots are so comfortable and warm. It is like wearing your slippers out. I wore them out this weekend when the wind chills were in the teens and my feet were toasty warm. I would definetly recommed these boots , definetley worth every penny!
Cheap Alternative to the Ugg November 22, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I figured when I purchased these they wouldn't be as nice as the Uggs...I was correct. Cons: the wool thins after a couple of wears and sheads around the top of the boot. Pros: a good boot for a lower price and are very warm and the outside seems to handle rugged use very well. I would buy them again for the price that I paid but not the full original price.

I am truly disappointed with Amazon and with EMU. I purchased two pairs of these boots, one for me and one for my daughter, with high expectations. My pair, chocolate 7M, fits perfectly, BUT they were clearly recycled. The bottoms of the shoes had sand and gravel embedded in them and there was hair, clearly not my own, inside the boot. The box was a bit worn, which should have been my first sign. As for my daughter's boots, they fit perfectly and are actually very comfortable. BUT she wore them twice and I wore them twice and the sole is already tearing away from the base of the shoe. Also, the wool is constantly coming out of the shoe... shedding.. which is very annoying. All in all I think I should have sucked it up and paid the normal price of an Ugg boot. I definitely got what I paid for. Oh, I returned my boots to Amazon and requested a full refund+shipping. I am definitely not at fault for being shipped a pair of previously worn boots! Up until this point I had been very satisfied with Amazon's services. I am truly disappointed.
