Best thing that ever happened to my tea! June 23, 2008
This stuff is great. Along with some lemon and Splenda, this flavorful addition to my tea is pure heaven. I buy it in large quantities for fear something will happen and I can't get any--that's how precious it is. I don't drink it regularly, though I could, and each time I have it, it's a wonderful experience. I've also had it with warm apple juice, and that's great too!

I love mulled cider and have always made several batches over the winter months. (The usual procedure of putting your mulling spices in cheese cloth and doing a quart or so at a time.) What a nice surprise to find this spice blend that is a powder. All you do is add some to your hot cider and you can make a single cup if you want, rather than a quart. Flavor is really nice and works well with wine also.

This apple cider mulling spice blend is perfect. It can be used with an entire gallon of cider or in a single cup. Most of the other cider mulling herbs have to be used all at once, but since I like to drink cider the way I would have a cup of tea, this is the perfect ingredient to make each cup special. You just put in a teaspoon or two and you have the perfect hot cider. I had found another product like this one several years ago but it is no longer made and I was ecstatic to find the Aspen mulling spice blend. Of course you can use it with other type of drinks, but for me, it makes the perfect autumn hot apple cider drink. Although it has to be purchased as a pack of 9, the extra ones make wonderful gifts for special people.

Aspen Mulling Spices are delicious! What a fabulous find. We add a carton to a bottle of apple juice or apple cider, throw in a few slices of orange, and warm it on the stove. The aroma is delicious - it reminds the whole family of fall. A delicious treat any time of year, it's particularly good on a frosty night. I'm sure there are a million uses for this spice blend, but we're all hooked on the apple cider combination. And at this price, you can't go wrong. Purchased individually at the store, this pack of nine would cost over $45.00 - stock up and save a bundle!
