Closest thing to Arm & Hammer Dental Care Gum July 9, 2008 If you liked Arm & Hammer Dental Care gum and lament its demise, this is the closest thing you'll find as a replacenent (taste-wise) for a non-aspartame containing sugar-free gum. The wad of gum you end up with is smaller & softer than A&H, there's no baking soda, and unlike A&H's 12-pack you can't easily slip a tub of Xylichew into your pocket. But otherwise, it's pretty good.
healthy, tasty, better than spry June 1, 2008 I bought spry gum because it was cheaper. Well, it tasted okay, but it was nothing spectacular. The worst part, it was made in China and imported. I found Xylichew and ordered it. Wow! Xylichew has a much stronger, fresher taste that lasts longer. Xylichew does not get mushy and stringy after chewing for an extended period of time. Xylichew is not made in China. I feel that Xylichew is worth the extra money. I chew it faithfully after every meal and usually several times a day because I love the taste. I used subscribe and save and I have it sent to me monthly. Highly recommend Xylichew!!!!!
Minty, Fresh, Last a Long Time March 20, 2008 Xylichew Peppermint gum is a pretty outstanding gum--I keep one of the jars at work, and the other at home, often chewing them after snacks & meals, particularly when brushing is inconvenient. The pieces are a good size (not overwhelmingly large) but manage to keep flavor for a long time--in part because of xylitol's cooling effects. Most research indicates that chewing 4 or more pieces per day reduces the likelihood of cavities.
Xylichew is good, better than Spry! March 13, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Have bought a LOT of Spry gum in the past (1000'S of pieces), but with all the health scares from Chinese made products, I decided that it wasn't worth taking a chance with my health and the health of my family. Spry gum is made in China (which is why it's cheaper), along with most every other cheaper Xylitol gum on the market today. On the other hand, XYLICHEW IS MADE IN FINLAND. That's why it costs more. Isn't your health worth it? Why take chances? With all the scares of people that died from tainted Chinese toothpaste, improper Chinese pharmaceuticals that led to sickness and death, the tainted pet food scare that killed many animals, lead paint on Chinese toys... on and on... to me Xylichew is worth the extra money. The peppermint flavor is long lasting and tastes good.
great flavor and texture January 20, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
--great flavor and texture --tastes good and natural, not artificial --wow natural latex rubber is chewy, I'd never had it before and it has a much better texture than other gum --this gum is made from birch and not GMO corn, so as I understand it, this is the "good xylitol"
