Only one "short" coming..... December 13, 2008
I've been riding for well over 20 yrs and the Deltran Battery Tender is one of the greatest products you can buy for your cycle!!
In the early years, I was playing with trickle chargers and/or starting the bike once or twice a month over the winter months, only to always seem to be pushing the bike down the alley come spring, trying to pop the clutch to get her started because the battery didn't make it through the winter with a decent charge....again!
About 10 years ago I bought a Battery Tender Plus at a cycle shop's open house. They were rather expensive then, but thought it worth a try considering the sale price. Loved it!!! Still have that original one, although I have been through a couple of the Jrs.
With 5 streetbikes in the garage, it seemed like a no brainer to invest in this 4 bank version. Did a little shopping around and found this to be the best deal. I had read somewhere, (although can't recall where), that this model had leads 12 ft long, so I didn't see the need for the extentions. Wrong!!! Leads are only 4.5 ft long each, so I wish I would've got the extentions. 25ft is a bit long and I have seen 12ft elsewhere.
Again, fantastic product for the off season or if you're fortunate enough to have a multiple bike stable!!

I have had the battery tender for about a month now works great very convient your are able to have 4 batteries at the same time hooked to this. For people that have multiple things that need to be charged at the same time you cant go wrong with this. Is the cheapest in price that i found just for the unit itself but i needed the 25 foot extensions for it and ebay had the same charger and the extensions for about a dollar cheaper but for the unit itself couldnt find it cheaper nowhere.

This item replaced several Battery Tender Jr.s I had plugged in on a power strip. I like the four-in-one packaging this unit provides. I have had a Jr. model fail after a couple of seasons. I hope this one is a little more sturdy.

This is the third Battery Tender product I've purchased. This one works as advertised, just like the first two. I put this one in my snowmobile trailer for 3 snowmobiles and my trailer battery. Two snowmobiles have batteries for electric start, one snowmobile has a very small battery for the ignition and the trailer is a big, deep cycle marine battery. The Battery Tender keeps all of the different sized batteries charged up and ready to go. Much better than dealing with a dead battery in a snowy parking lot while everyone waits for you to get things going.

I was looking especially for a Deltran and found this one on Amazon.com for a substantial amount less than from the Deltran Company it-self. Plus with the free shipping It was definitely a bargain. I will find out if the tender has kept my two tractor batteries and my car battery from freezing after a long winter...when I return in the summer.
I only needed a three tender but having the extra one never hurts. It's there if I need it. I have always like Deltran. Sorry I can't tell you at this time the tender did a great job...I'm just preparing for the winter while I'm in warmer weather.
