Britt Robertson, Talented but has terrible luck..

I think Britt Robertson's a fairly good actress. I enjoyed her performances in most things I've seen her in, but she is so unlucky with her shows. I mean one was cancelled after the second season, one after the first, and another that she was killed off after the first season. I don't get why people blame her for some of the cancellations because the problems with the shows were pretty clear to me.

First I think it was stupid to have Life Unexpected, a family show on a network filled with rich teenagers, vampires, witches, assassins, superheros etc. Had this show been on a different network like ABC Family or The WB it would have survived a lot longer. I thought it was a really good show and Britt pulled off the role of the annoying but lovable Lux really well.

Next, I thought The Secret Circle was actually a pretty decent show. It started off slow but got amazing near the end. I read the books when I was younger and hated that the writers were flip flopping between following the books and deviating from them. However I didn't think Britt Robertson's performance in this show was that great mostly because of how she was written. I think I heard that the main problem with this show was the budget and how it was too expensive too keep the show running. Bummer, since it ended on a cliffhanger.

Lastly, I particularly liked Britt Robertson in Under the Dome. She's the main reason a lot of people I know watched the show. She played Angie really well, especially her relationship with Joe and with Junior in the fallout shelter. I thought out of all the four hands it made the most sense to kill her because if they killed Joe, Norrie would have no attachment to the rest of them, Junior was essential to the plot of season 2, and Norrie's mom already died because of the dome and most people have only known her for a little while so not many people would really care. Even though the death lead the plot for the rest of the season the loss of one of the best characters was devastating. A large majority of people stopped watching UtD after the 1st season because of the countless plot holes and the loss of Angie and Linda. I don't know if this is true but I also heard that she asked to be killed off of the show because of her burgeoning movie career.

I mean Tomorrowland, Cake, and The Longest Ride, this girl is probably gonna be one of the biggest breakout stars of 2015. It makes sense that Britt Robertson would want to do more movies. I haven't watched too many of her movies other than

The First Time and Delivery Man but I thought she was pretty great in both. I can't wait to see more of the talented Britt Robertson next year and wish her all the best with her career.
