 clearly cumbersome December 28, 2008
Good for protection for the camera and its finish but it is difficult download images access battery or media card without totally removing the skin.

I bought this with the purshase of my camera. Used it in the beginning, but stopped using it. It's fine, but I'll probably only throw it on there when I'm on the water to help keep the card and battery door from opening up and letting water in. My friend bought his and it ripped as he stretched his on first time. Mine is still entact, but it makes a bulky camera, that much bulkier, and its probably not needed unless you are in the water a lot with your camera. My personal opinion is that I want my point-and-shoot camera to be small and fit quietly in the back pocket.

If you wanto to protect your Olympus Stylus 1030SW this silicon cover will work fine. The problem I found is if you need to change the battery or want to use a tripod you will have to remove it from the camera.
In addition, seems that the camera doesn't fit in the green neoprene case or in the "armband case" when using this cover.
In general terms, it works fine from protecting your camera from scratchings. Please consider using a kind of film protection for the LCD screen.

i have used my camara without the silicon cover, even when it is shockproof it got some scratches.
after using the clear cover I felt more confortable using it. i highly recommed the use.

Fits camera just right and everything functions properly, but it is diffcult to read labels on buttons.
